Transients     Transients are always welcome here at Colonial Beach Yacht Center.  The marina’s land mass provides a natural safe harbor even in the foulest of weather. Dockage is available for vessels up to 100 feet in length and  8 feet of draft.  A new electrical system and municipal  water hook-ups have been installed. Our new floating docks, a fine dining restraunt, and an array of other conviences are also available.  To make a reservation, call our office or fill out the reservation form located on our website. Colonial Beach Yacht Center is located on the Potomac River at the mouth of Monroe Bay, approximately 40 st. miles from Point Lookout and 57 st. miles from Washington, D.C. The harbor is located at latitude 38º 13’ 47”N and longitude 76º 57’ 45”W. The staff monitors VHF 16. The 8-foot deep channel to Monroe Bay provides an easy access to the Potomac River and is the last deep water harbor until Washington D.C. The fuel dock occupies the inside of the peninsula to the starboard as you enter the channel. Transient Fees  Daily $1.50 per foot plus $5.00 for electric ($45.00 per night minimum)    Weekly  $7.25 per foot weekly plus $20.00 for electric    Monthly  $325.00 per month plus metered electric or $95.00 if not metered        Colonial Beach is known as "Golf Cart Town!"      You may reserve one in advance by calling:                  804-224-2278.   (There is a reasonable fee.)   If you would like to travel to a local winery, berry farm or historical attraction such as Washington's Birthplace or Stratford Hall, our staff will help you make the necessary arrangements. Dockside Restaurant is located adjacent to the yacht center.  Reservations are not required but are suggested for large groups and holiday weekends.
